The Imagination Station host Mark Kistler

Imagination Station can be seen on KENW TV channel 3-3 twice weekly: Sundays at 11:00 am and Mondays at 5:30 pm.

Last summer, author and Emmy Award winning Public Television host Mark Kistler, (The Imagination Station), taught nearly 2000 kids, parents, and grandparents in 13 cities across the nation. This summer, he’s returning to Albuquerque with a special guest in tow.  Tim Decker will spend the week in Albuquerque teaching Claymation-style animation and puppet making. Although now a professor in Wisconsin, Decker worked in Hollywood for Disney Interactive and The Simpsons  before making appearance on Kistler’s “The Imagination Station.” While Decker teaches these specialties, Kistler will once again teach drawing in 3D with his high-energy, off-the-wall antics, and guarantees everyone will laugh and learn to draw while gaining a hands-on appreciation for animation.

The week long camp will be held July 16th-20th at Christ Lutheran Church & School, 7701 Candelaria Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.

Another week-long camp will be held in Albuquerque May 29th- June 1st and will only feature Kistler solo, teaching drawing in 3D.

Sessions are designed for ages 5 - 14+ (8 and up for Claymation) and run Monday through Friday for 1-hour daily ($89), 2.5-hours daily ($178), or 4-hours daily ($267). Siblings are discounted and evening sessions may be offered. Registration and specifics on ages and times at www.Draw3D.com.
