Senior White House advisor David Plouffe — President Obama's campaign manager in 2008 — told Chris Wallace on FoxNewsSunday that, when it comes to dealing with our colossal deficits and debt, "the right approach is the president's approach." That approach, Plouffe added, "gets our deficit on a very sustainable path." One wonders: Has Plouffe seen a copy of the president's budget?

The sound of Berlin's S-Bahn is unmistakable; many Berliners hear it every day.
So Londoner, Peter Cusack, who is currently taking part in the Berlin Artists in Residence Program DAAD, decided to record it. Cusack, who is a sound artist and musician, has been exploring his favorite sounds of major cities, such as Chicago, Beijing, Prague, and London, since 1998.
He says, Berlin is, for sure, quieter than London.

Singer-songwriter Jill Sobule makes her sixth appearance on Mountain Stage, recorded live on the campus of West Virginia University in Morgantown. Since first raising eyebrows with her hit "I Kissed a Girl" in the mid-'90s, Sobule has maintained a loyal following.
