Harvesting honey is the topic during The Farm with Ian Knauer on Thursday at 9 pm

On The Farm, host Ian Knauer follows his ingredients from their very beginnings all the way to the dinner table. Whether he's milking a cow to make fresh cheeses that are the star of dinner or harvesting honey, fresh from the hive, that becomes the key ingredient in the meal, he is educating his viewers about exactly where wholesome, delicious food comes from. This series doesn't just highlight a fad in American food, but an eco-conscious, fresh and a fun lifestyle, and it brings education back to cooking television by way of easy to follow recipes and the importance of sustainable agriculture. Viewers will feel as if they've been invited to roll up their sleeves and experience the way their ancestors grew and ate their food as a way to look to the future of American food.

The Farm with Ian Knauer airs on Thursday, May 1st at 9:00 pm on channel 3.
