This week Jeff Gentry talks with Kayla Paulk instructor of music at ENMU.  Kayla talks about being a vocal coach and professional pianist.  In addition she also talks about her dog Steinway and her connection with playing with accompanying ensembles 12 to 15 times per semester.

This week on Great Arts at Eastern Jeff Gentry speaks with Rick Shepherdson, professor of digital filmmaking at Eastern Mexico University.

Jeff Gentry talks with Stephanie Beinlich about her role in teaching her students how to work with others during a prism concert in being a part of an ensemble. Stephanie also talks about the collaboration between the different choir ensembles and how they combined their styles together for a unique sound for Thursday's concert.

Stephanie will also be part of Thursday's concert and performing a work by Mendelson.

Jeff Gentry this week talks with Dustin Seifert, about the annual Holiday Concert in Portales on December 7th.  Dustin talks about how the various works came together for this concert and how it has been called a gift to the community. Audience participation will be a part of the show with singalongs taking place during various choir works.

This week on Great Arts at Eastern Jeff Gentry speaks with Janeice Scarbrough and Joe Miller about the upcoming stage play Proof.  Janeice Scarbrough and Joe Miller talk about why the play Proof was selected for this year’s theater outing.  Janeice talks about the play topic and message being about Math and Mental Illness and families being in crisis.  

Joe Miller who plays the character of Mr. Miller speaks about the background of his character as well as working in as ensemble production such as this.
