On July 18, 2025, the US House and Senate voted to eliminate federal funding for public broadcasting which will impact KENW-FM, your local radio station serving Eastern New Mexico and West Texas.

For decades, KENW-FM has provided trusted local, regional and national news, educational programming, local stories, and cultural content that connects and uplifts our communities. These funding cuts threaten the mission and reach of your public radio station.

KENW-FM will deeply feel the impact of this funding cut, but KENW-FM is determined to continue being your source of your local, regional and national news, education and entertainment by continuing to provide outstanding content to our listeners.

You are vital to keep local public broadcasting strong in Eastern New Mexico and West Texas. Your continuing support is more essential now than ever before.
