This year an estimated 230,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. Upwards of 400,000 more men will be diagnosed with prostatitis, a known precursor to prostate cancer. Once diagnosed with prostate disease, the aggressive, conventional medical treatments are typically presented by the doctors as the only available option, often with a sense of urgency that discourages any other treatment considerations. This documentary challenges this automatic formula for treatment.
