AMERICA'S HEARTLAND taps into the national fascination with food and curiosity about unfamiliar places and ways of life, while also exploring the American values of family, hard work and the spirit of independence. The 20-part series, produced entirely on location, portrays the worlds of agriculture, horticulture and aquaculture complete with fascinating stories, compelling characters, innovative ideas and enticing travel destinations.
